Job summary

ATP North America is seeking a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Specialist to support our manufacturing operations. This role will be based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with regular travel to our West Columbia, South Carolina facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of manufacturing experience and 2+ years in an SHE role.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT regulations and industrial safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to travel ~25% between Philadelphia, PA and West Columbia, SC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote a proactive safety culture focused on employee engagement, hazard recognition, and risk reduction.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver safety, environmental, and energy management training programs.
• Support and maintain ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 management systems.
• Lead sustainability and energy efficiency initiatives that reduce environmental impact and support business goals.
• Manage environmental compliance programs, including waste management, emissions control, and spill prevention.
• Track and analyze key SHE performance metrics and present findings to leadership.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate drills and preparedness activities.
