Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated seeks a Site SHE Manager for our Geneva, IL campus. You will lead the comprehensive Safety, Health, Environmental and Sustainability program, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide direction across multiple functions handling diverse materials.
This role requires < 10% travel and strong leadership in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The candidate will drive audit findings, incident analyses, and continuous improvement while partnering with plant personnel to uphold McCormick standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety or Engineering.
• 5+ years managing SHE/PLP programs at facilities.
• CSP, ASP, CIH or equivalent certification.
• Experience handling hazardous materials and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, leadership and training skills.
• Experience interacting with government agencies.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and industrial hygiene practices.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety, health and environment policies and procedures.
• Lead site-level SHE/PLP program implementation and training.
• Conduct audits, incident analyses and root cause investigations.
• Coordinate with operating units to standardize programs.
• Develop and maintain exposure assessments and industrial hygiene surveys.
• Support annual SHE action plan.
