Job summary

Lignetics Inc. in Shelton, WA is seeking a Production Worker / Shavings Baler Operator for the swing shift. You will assist and operate packaging equipment and manage bale packing in a wood by-products environment.

The role requires standing most of the day, lifting up to 50 lbs, basic math, and forklift readiness. Benefits include health insurance, 2 weeks PTO plus holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing and production line experience preferred.
• Must possess good eye, hand and foot coordination.
• Able to concentrate for extended periods and multitask.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for 7 hours daily.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to do simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist and operate packaging equipment.
• Work near machines that compress wood by-products.
• Open compression chamber doors and manage bale placement and removal.
• Record bale weights and daily activity per company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Learn and perform standard setups and adjustments.
