Lignetics in Brownsville, Oregon, is hiring a Production Worker / Shavings Baler Operator. You will operate packaging equipment, record bale weights, and perform routine maintenance, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, eye-hand coordination, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. Forklift certification is encouraged and pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing and production line experience preferred.
• Good eye, hand and foot coordination.
• Ability to concentrate for extended periods and multi-task.
• Will be lifting 50 lbs. and standing for up to 7 hours per day.
• Requires mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to do simple math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist and operate various packaging equipment.
• Work near machines that compress wood by-products.
• Open compression chamber doors and place bags, remove bales from packaging equipment.
• Record bale weights and daily activity per company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on packaging equipment.
• Learn and perform standard setups, adjustments and operating characteristics of packaging equipment.
• Forklift certified or able to obtain forklift certification as needed.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems.
