Job summary

Xcel Energy offers a paid internship in Minnesota focused on supporting SharePoint and Microsoft 365 capabilities to enhance end-user experience. The role is mentored to develop system management and user-support skills, with practical field experience and mentoring to build confidence and people skills.

The internship starts May 24, 2027 and may extend beyond the initial term based on performance and business needs, with a hybrid work policy and in-person commuting requirements.

Qualifications

• The candidate is a current student, freshman or higher.
• Enrolled in a college/university pursuing CS/IT or related systems management/support degree.
• Available to work full-time in summer (up to 40 hours/week) or part-time during the school year (up to 20 hours/week) in-person per hybrid policy.

Responsibilities

• SharePoint site content creation.
• New product research and evaluation.
• SharePoint support and inbox management.
• Organization and meta-tagging of department documents (over 10k).
• Site migration assistance.
• Day-to-day user questions and needs (as able).
• Maintain SharePoint/M365 information with updates and new materials.
