The role focuses on translating technical topics into concise content and enabling change through messaging and content delivery. The candidate will draft communications, develop job aids, and support updates, while leveraging SharePoint and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal or external communications and change enablement.
• Strong writing and editing capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Basic video editing capabilities.

Job description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a SharePoint Communications Specialist for a contract position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a contract opportunity currently scheduled to end in December 2026. Fully onsite, 5 days/week. Pay range $38.53-$42.63 per hour W2.

This role involves providing support for enterprise and divisional initiatives through clear, accurate communications and practical change enablement content. The specialist will translate complex technology and business topics into concise, usable content for employees and leaders. This position supports change and adoption efforts through messaging and enablement content and requires the ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving, high-visibility, high-expectations environment.

Requirements

• Provable successful experience in internal or external communication
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Change management experience
• Strong operational coordination and logistics skills
• Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic video editing capabilities
• Work samples are strongly preferred with resume submission
