Job summary

InterAgency Inc. is seeking a SharePoint Administrator to design and manage a SharePoint environment for a large public utility program in the DC metro region. You will build sites, libraries, metadata, and permissions and steward program records for staff, consultants, and partners.

You will coordinate with client IT managers and program staff to establish information architecture, governance, and ongoing improvements, ensuring secure, compliant content management across the project life cycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in document control or information management.
• At least 2 years designing or administering SharePoint Online as site owner.
• Experience enforcing naming conventions, metadata, and versioning.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 apps (Teams, OneDrive, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assess current document storage and workflows and recommend a target SharePoint structure.
• Design and implement site architecture, libraries, metadata, and version control.
• Develop and maintain the program's document management plan and governance procedures.
• Create role-based permissions model and coordinate external sharing.
• Plan migration of content and configure retention labels and Power Automate flows.
• Monitor and audit SharePoint environment and produce compliance reports.
