Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission.
  • Significant commercial real estate experience in a law firm.
  • Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and related transactional matters.
  • Ability to independently manage client relationships and sophisticated matters.
  • Existing book of business or demonstrated business development success.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing.
  • Structure and document purchase agreements, leases, financing docs, and related real estate agreements.
  • Counsel developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and owners on strategic real estate matters and risk.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships while growing the Real Estate practice.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to offer comprehensive real estate solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, development, and investment transactions.
  • Structure, negotiate, and document sophisticated purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, easements, and related real estate agreements.
  • Counsel developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and business owners on strategic real estate matters and risk management issues.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships while contributing to the continued growth of the Real Estate practice.
  • Partner with attorneys across multiple practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions for real estate clients.

  • Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and related transactional real estate matters.
  • Experience independently managing client relationships and sophisticated legal matters.
  • Existing book of business or demonstrated business development success.

  • Experience representing developers, investors, lenders, landlords, or tenants.
  • Experience handling commercial financing, development, or investment transactions.
  • Experience with complex real estate portfolio acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Experience mentoring junior attorneys or leading complex matters.
Benefits
  • Expected compensation generally ranging from $275,000 to $400,000+, depending on productivity, collections, and business origination.
  • 15% origination compensation on collected revenue from originated business.
  • Profit-sharing contributions, historically ranging from $10,000 to $28,000 annually.
  • Two-year draw protection period for lateral Non-Equity Partner hires during practice integration.
