Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, loan documents, easements, and related transaction documents.
- Conduct due diligence, title and survey review, and assist with transaction management through closing.
- Partner directly with developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and business owners to provide practical legal guidance and strategic counsel.
- Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions for real estate clients.
Qualifications / Nice to Have
Must Have
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
- 3+ years of commercial real estate experience.
- Experience handling acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and transaction management skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with commercial financing or development matters.
- Experience representing developers, investors, landlords, or tenants.
- Experience independently managing transactions and client relationships.
- Interest in developing business and growing a long-term practice.
Benefits
- Base salary of $175,000 to $225,000+, depending on experience.
- Annual hours bonus paid for all billable hours worked above the firm's 1,800-hour target.
- 15% origination bonus on collected revenue from self-generated business.
- Eligibility for profit-sharing contributions, historically ranging from $7,500 to $15,000 annually, based on associate productivity.
