Qualifications

Job Details

We are seeking a mid- to senior-level associate to join our real estate practice. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial transactions alongside experienced attorneys, with direct involvement in deal strategy and execution. You will play a key role in managing matters from start to finish while contributing to a collaborative team environment. The work is varied and consistently active, providing exposure to different asset types, ownership structures, and client objectives. This is a strong fit for someone who wants to take ownership of their work and continue building a sophisticated transactional practice.

Responsibilities
  • Handle a broad mix of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
  • Support and lead deal execution, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents
  • Work on complex ownership structures, including joint ventures and equity arrangements
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on strategy, client communication, and issue resolution
  • Manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail

Requirements
  • Approximately 6+ years of relevant real estate transactional experience
  • Experience with acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development, and financing
  • Exposure to joint ventures, preferred equity, or similar ownership structures is strongly preferred
  • Background working with a range of asset types, including commercial and mixed-use projects
  • Prior experience in a law firm environment preferred
  • Active MA bar admission in good standing, or ability to waive in
