Job Title: Shareholder Program Manager

Job Summary:
The Shareholder Program Manager develops and oversees programs that advance training, development and enrichment opportunities for Sealaska shareholders. This position promotes shareholder benefits, internship programs, and advancement opportunities available to shareholders and descendants, and proposes, develops, implements and administers programs and activities that support that goal. The Manager must be inspirational, creative, innovative and able to build strong relationships with community and business partners to spark new ways to make a difference.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Assists with recruiting, interviews, hires, and training new staff.
• Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and manage shareholder benefit programs to inspire students and life-long learners, access educational opportunities, explore diverse career paths, prepare for and find jobs, advance their careers, and connect with leaders, mentors and each other.
• Engage with shareholders and communities to listen, learn and understand how to best align Sealaska’s programs with their needs and ensure that they know, understand and can easily access the benefits available to them.
• Build and cultivate relationships with Woocheen’s businesses, community leaders, trade organizations, universities, vocational/technical schools, and other organizations that can help.
• Leverage Woocheen’s global business platform to create inspiring and meaningful career, internship, apprenticeship, and mentoring opportunities.
• Develop and manage operating and program budgets.
• Manage Internship Coordinator
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
• Demonstrated success in designing, implementing, administering and measuring the outcomes of program-based initiatives.
• Able to start, build, and cultivate deep relationships with partner organizations, community leaders, colleagues, staff and other stakeholder groups and leverage relationships to get things done.
• Is a collaborative, high-energy doer that is curious, insightful, creative, adaptable and doesn’t wait for direction.
• Able to directly communicate expectations and hold others accountable for results and behaviors.
• Able to proactively reach out and work collaboratively across a global organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in education or equivalent experience.
• Five years of relevant experience developing, launching, administering, tracking, and evaluating career and/or educational programs.
• Five years of experience working directly with individuals, businesses, organizations, and other stakeholders to help prepare others for educational and career opportunities.

Work Environment:
This is position and will be mostly stationary requiring some movement around the office and frequent communication with others. The average working hours will be 8 hours per day for this position with occasional need to exceed.
