Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• “At least five years of grants management or research administration experience.”
• “Knowledge of federal and non-federal sponsors and applicable research administration principles.”
• “Experience with electronic proposal and research administration systems.”
• “Strong analytical, accounting, financial, and grants management skills.”
• “Excellent communication and high-quality service with minimal supervision.”

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end pre-award proposal development and submission support.
• Interpret sponsor guidelines and advise on proposal requirements.
• Prepare budgets, budget justifications, and subaward documentation.
• Review proposals for completeness and compliance with sponsor and University requirements.
• Assist with biosketches, current and pending support, and required materials.
• Monitor proposals from development through award negotiation and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Oversee post-award portfolios and advise on financial implications of award activity.
• Develop financial projections, monitor expenditures, encumbrances, and cost sharing.
