Job summary

South College Orlando is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Faculty member to join as a full-time, on-site position in Orlando, FL. The role delivers didactic, laboratory, and clinical education aligned with JRC-DMS standards to support student competency and professional readiness.

Responsibilities include creating syllabi, evaluating performance, supervising clinical experiences, and ensuring documentation meets accreditation requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography per JRC-DMS standards.
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Current ARDMS certification in Echocardiography and one additional specialty.
• Eligibility to teach per JRC-DMS and institutional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic instruction aligned with program outcomes and JRC-DMS standards.
• Facilitate hands-on scanning laboratories and ensure safe equipment operation.
• Supervise students during clinical education experiences and coordinate with clinical sites.
• Develop and update lab curricula and assessments with continuous improvement.
