Job summary

South College Orlando is seeking a Cardiovascular Sonography Instructor to join the DMS faculty on-site in Orlando, FL. This full-time position involves didactic instruction, laboratory teaching, and coordinating clinical education to ensure students meet accreditation standards.

Ideal candidates hold ARDMS certification in Echocardiography with an additional specialty, a Bachelor's in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Master’s preferred), and at least two years of full-time clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (per JRC-DMS).
• ARDMS certification in Echocardiography with one additional specialty.
• Minimum of two years of full‑time clinical experience in sonography.
• Eligibility to teach under JRC-DMS and institutional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver didactic instruction aligned with program outcomes and JRC-DMS standards.
• Develop, revise syllabi, lesson plans, assessments and instructional materials.
• Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate academic records in the LMS.
• Supervise clinical education experiences and liaison with affiliates.
