Episcopal Homes of Minnesota in St. Paul, MN, is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Longterm Care Nursing team.

The role provides person-centered care in a home-like setting, supporting residents with daily living activities and health monitoring on a 6:30am–2:30pm shift (0.6 FTE). Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, documenting changes, maintaining privacy, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

We are currently hiring a Shahbaz to join our Longterm Care Nursing team and provide comprehensive, person-centered care in a home-like environment that fosters dignity, autonomy, and quality of life for residents.

Wage:$22.50-$24.86/hr. DOESchedule:Part-Time, 6:30am-2:30pm 0.6 FTE (45 hrs.)

What You’ll Do

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting
• Observe and respond to elders’ needs, promoting independence and decision-making
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of all elder care and documentation
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and interdisciplinary teams to meet resident needs
• Participate in Clinical Service Team (CST) meetings to discuss resident progress and needs
• Document and report changes in health, behavior, eating habits, skin condition, and psychosocial status
• Follow protocols for infection control, fire safety, disaster preparedness, and facility policies
• Assist with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Support restorative nursing and rehabilitation programs as outlined in care plans
• Measure and document vital signs, weight, and height
• Assist with meals, snacks, and fluids based on dietary plans and preferences
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the household, including resident rooms, shared spaces, and kitchen areas
• Complete laundry tasks for residents including washing, drying, and folding
• Follow safety protocols and report unsafe conditions or suspected abuse immediately
• Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach, handle, feel, talk, hear, and see as required for elder care
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 75 pounds
• Ability to assist with transferring residents safely and using mechanical lifts as needed
