Job summary

The Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center in Bridgewater, NJ, seeks a Youth & Camp Coordinator to plan and oversee youth and family programs and manage camp registrations.

You will lead JCrew Afterschool and vacation camp activities, coordinate PJ Library initiatives, build partnerships, and ensure exceptional customer service for families.

This role requires strong communication, organization, teamwork, and the ability to engage with diverse community groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for families, providing exceptional customer service and timely communication regarding youth and family programs.
• JCrew Afterschool Director, including program planning and implementation, participant enrollment and supervision, staff hiring, attendance tracking, family communication, and logistics.
• Plan and oversee school vacation camp days, ensuring engaging programming, appropriate staffing, and smooth operations.
• Develop, Lead and Coordinate afterschool and weekend youth enrichments; partner with community partners and vendors to enhance offerings.
• PJ Library Coordinator, recruit, train, and support parent volunteers and community ambassadors.
• Cultivate partnerships with synagogues, schools, preschools, camps, and community organizations.
• Build meaningful relationships with families raising Jewish children from birth through age 12.
• Welcome and connect new families to local Jewish programs and resources.
