Job summary

K10 Apprenticeships Limited in the Heathrow area is seeking a Safety, Health & Environment Technician apprentice. The role blends office work with site visits to ensure compliance, develop safety training, and support management with incident investigations and data analysis.

You'll enrol in Level 3 SHE Technician and have 24 months of structured training funded by the apprenticeship scheme. A proactive learner with good English/Maths is ideal.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 3/D or above or Functional Skills Level 1+.
• Eligibility to work in England and 18+ due to site rules.
• Enthusiasm to learn and commit to apprenticeship training.
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites and attend college.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice on health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Develop, review and implement safe systems of work.
• Create and deliver training packages (toolbox talks, inductions).
• Investigate incidents and report findings to management.
• Analyse data and present to leadership; support continuous improvement.
• Visit construction sites to check safety standards and review risk assessments.
• Promote safety culture across the organisation; maintain records.
