Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Safety and Regulatory professional to oversee SH&E compliance, training, and regulatory interactions at facilities. You will identify applicable regulations, conduct audits, and lead training while supporting incident investigations and corrective actions.

The role requires a high school diploma, a bachelor’s degree in safety or related field preferred, and travel up to 65%. Proficiency with MS Office and the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree in safety, environmental science, or related field preferred.
• Professional certification in safety or environmental field preferred; certification expected after hire.

Responsibilities

• Identify SH&E, OSHA, EPA, DOT and DHS regulations applicable to facilities and assist in understanding them.
• Conduct SH&E compliance audits and lead training meetings; train-the-trainer sessions.
• Advise facilities during interactions with regulatory agencies and keep regulations current.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and oversee corrective action plans.
• Support environmental risk assessment, spill response, and waste management planning.
• Assist in implementing DOT and fleet safety programs; manage driver qualification files.
