Job summary

Nutrien is seeking a Safety and Compliance professional to lead SH&E regulatory work across its facilities in the United States. The role focuses on audits, training, and regulatory liaison to ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and DHS standards.

The candidate will investigate incidents, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions while supporting spill response and waste management programs. A strong safety background and travel readiness are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, DHS and related regulations; 5+ years in safety/environmental roles.
• Willingness to travel up to 65% with overnight stays ~40%.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Teams and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identify SH&E, OSHA, EPA, DOT and DHS regulations applicable to facilities.
• Conduct SH&E compliance audits and lead training sessions.
• Support facilities during regulatory interactions and maintain liaison with agencies.
• Investigate incidents, determine root causes, and oversee corrective actions.
• Assist with spill response, waste management, and PSM/RMP program tasks.
• Support DOT and fleet safety programs.
