Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to lead student government activities, manage the student union snack bar, and administer the welfare fund. You will coordinate voting, maintain records, and deliver leadership and life skills training to students.

The role requires strong facilitation and communication skills, a valid in-State driver's license, and experience with similar programs. Orientation and officer training are part of the duties, with adherence to policy standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Advanced degrees preferred.
• Post-High School leadership or related training courses preferred.
• Previous Job Corps or related program experience required.
• Strong facilitation skills to deliver training programs to students.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student government, student union snack bar, welfare fund and voting services; facilitate leadership and life skills training.
• Supervise SGA, maintain communication with administration, schedule meetings, and guide development of skills in student government.
• Oversee snack bar operators and operations; ensure health regulations and safety compliance.
• Coordinate all SGA functions and administer the student welfare fund; prepare and distribute meeting minutes.
• Chaperone student government functions and coordinate voting activities; maintain accurate student records.
• Conduct group sessions; participate in orientation and leadership training; train newly elected officers.
• Deliver advanced leadership training and provide positive customer service to students and staff.
• Support and enforce Job Corps’ Zero Tolerance Policy; promote Career Success Standards; mentor students.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
