About Chinese for Affitive Action (CAA)

CAA was founded in 1969 to protect the civil and political rights of Chinese Americans and to advance multiracial democracy in the United States. Today, CAA is a progressive voice in and on behalf of the broader Asian American and Pacific Islander community. CAA advocates for systemic change that protects immigrant rights, promotes language diversity, and remedies racial and social injustice.

Overview

The San Francisco Rapid Response Network is a collaboration between SFILEN and SFILDC . Raid Verification – We do raid verification for all calls of alleged ICE Enforcement activity within San Francisco. Raid verification is an important component of our work in order to dispel myths and lessen fear.

Attorney Activation – If an individual is detained after an ICE raid or ICE Activity we will activate our attorneys to go down to 630 Sansome, San Francisco (ICE immigration processing center) to file for representation of the individual. We will also work to secure long term representation if the person needs it.
