Job summary

Hallmark Aviation Services is seeking an Airport General Operations Manager at SFO Airport to lead and coordinate all operational and administrative activities across the Hallmark footprint. You will drive profitability, staffing, safety, and customer relations while guiding multiple Business Unit Managers.

The role requires extensive airport operations experience, 10+ years in passenger handling or airline operations with 3 years in management, and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with all departments at Hallmark head office to ensure customer needs are satisfied (Payroll, Operations, Training, HR, QA and Marketing).
  • Ensure each business unit operates within budget and contracted labor hours; bill hours and rechargeables properly.
  • Control costs and adhere to budgets; review records to project profitability.
  • Ensure contracts with clients are executed efficiently and profitably for both client and Hallmark.
  • Analyze marketing potential of existing accounts and recommend additional services.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards; provide leadership to Business Unit Managers.
  • Identify and develop future leaders for supervisory and management roles; interface with airport authorities.
  • Maintain efficient staffing levels at all account locations and resolve service inhibitors (on-time performance, staffing, recruiting).
  • Audit QA quarterly; present progress to customer station manager; ensure KPIs are achieved.
  • Review safety aspects and ensure FAA/TSA compliance; implement new procedures and training as required.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with HAS customers’ operational management; conduct regular meetings.
  • Maintain corporate culture; communicate with HAS managers and staff; conduct quarterly Town Hall meetings; celebrate small wins; build leadership within the team.

SUMMARY

Leads, directs and coordinates all activities involved with Hallmark’s operational and administrative functions in SFO Airport.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate with all departments at Hallmark head office to ensure that internal and external customer needs are satisfied (Payroll, Operations, Training, Human Resources, Quality Assurance and Marketing).

Profitability:
