Job summary

Accendra Health seeks an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Solution Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Salesforce development and participate in Marketing Cloud implementations, translating business requirements into robust SFMC configurations.

The role emphasizes end-to-end solution design, platform implementation, data management, and cross-cloud integration, with a focus on achieving scalable, high-quality marketing automation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a technical or solution engineering capacity.
• Strong proficiency with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Contact Builder.
• Experience with AMPscript, SQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of relational data models and segmentation logic.
• Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Sales/Service Cloud or external systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Design — Develop end-to-end Marketing Cloud architectures including data models, automation workflows, segmentation strategies, and cross-cloud integrations.
• Platform Implementation — Configure and deploy SFMC components such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and CloudPages.
• Data Management — Design and optimize data extensions, contact models, API integrations, and data ingestion processes to support dynamic personalization and automation.
• Technical Development — Build custom solutions using AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, HTML/CSS, and API frameworks to support advanced personalization and automation.
• Stakeholder Collaboration — Work with marketing and business teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver scalable solutions.
• Quality Assurance & Testing — Conduct solution testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deployments across environments.
• Enablement & Documentation — Provide training, documentation, and best-practice guidance to internal teams to ensure successful adoption and long-term platform health.
• Cross-Cloud Integration — Partner with Salesforce CRM, CDP, and external system owners to ensure seamless data flow and unified customer experiences.
• Performance Optimization — Monitor campaign performance, deliverability, and system health; recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and ROI.
• Governance & Compliance — Ensure solutions adhere to data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), security standards, and organizational governance frameworks.
