Job summary

The American Society for Hematology (ASH) in Washington, DC is seeking an Email Marketing & Automation Specialist to drive SFMC-based audience segmentation, personalization, and automated journeys for ASH programs and events.

You will own the email content calendar, collaborate with internal teams and IT, and work to improve targeting, data quality, and the member experience through measurement and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, information systems, data analytics, or related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Journey Builder and Automation Studio.
• Experience developing audience segments using data to support targeted marketing communications.
• Proficiency with SQL for querying data and managing data extensions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SFMC expert for segmentation, automation, personalization, and email campaign execution.
• Design, build, monitor, and optimize automated journeys and campaigns.
• Own ASH's email content calendar and coordinate across departments.
• Monitor performance, run tests, and optimize targeting, timing, and content.
• Ensure campaigns meet brand, accessibility, and QA standards.
• Provide data-driven recommendations and ensure data quality and governance.
