Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated seeks a Domain Leader for Shop Floor Control (SFC) / MES to define and execute the strategic vision across TI’s wafer fabrication facilities. This role leads a high-performing engineering organization and partners with manufacturing and IT leadership to enable autonomous, AI-driven MES-driven decision-making and real-time execution.

The role reports to the Vice President of Manufacturing Solutions and focuses on delivering reliable, scalable MES capabilities,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline.
12+ years of experience in manufacturing systems, industrial software, or MES.
7+ years leading engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

Define the long-term vision and technology strategy for Shop Floor Control (MES) across all wafer fabrication facilities.
Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap aligned with Smart Manufacturing objectives.
Identify opportunities to modernize MES architecture, improve scalability, resilience, and user experience.
Evaluate emerging technologies including AI, event-driven architectures, and agent-based factory operations.
Own delivery of SFC program commitments across multiple manufacturing sites.
Drive Agile execution, backlog prioritization, release planning, and continuous delivery.
Build organizational capability through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and succession planning.
