Job summary

Databricks is hiring a Sr. Workplace Services Manager to run the San Francisco HQ operations, leading a team and partnering with stakeholders and vendors. The role focuses on scalable processes, cost management, and space planning in a high-growth environment.

You will drive strategic initiatives, manage external vendors and budgets, and support rapid office expansion while ensuring a superior employee experience in a data and AI–driven company.

Qualifications

• 8+ years leading workplace operations and service delivery.
• Experience building schedules, coverage models and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong communication skills and robust event/program communications.
• Proven organizational skills managing multiple work streams.
• Customer-focused attitude with high quality resolutions.
• Experience with procurement, contracts and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all workplace services at the San Francisco HQ, including building operations, front-of-house, shipping/receiving, events and EHS.
• Mentor and elevate the workplace team, fostering excellence and collaboration.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and leaders to align priorities.
• Plan site-specific and company-wide growth with an annual roadmap.
• Provide local site data and insights to REW leadership for improvements.
• Manage external vendors and building management with SLAs and budgets.
• Forecast budgets and manage procurement, including vendor negotiations.
• Support rapid office expansion and occupancy planning.
• Design and execute office events to boost engagement.
• Maintain SOPs, guides and playbooks for consistent operations.
• Leverage automation and AI tools to optimize space planning and reporting.
• Implement core workplace programs like Food & Beverage, EHS, events.
