Job summary

Databricks in San Francisco is seeking a Workplace Services Manager to lead operations at our HQ. This full-time, in-office role partners with the REWS team to scale workplace services, optimize space, and deliver programs that support rapid growth and employee experience.

You will mentor a diverse team, manage vendor relations, budgets, and strategic initiatives, and drive data-informed decisions to improve facilities operations and employee engagement in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

8+ years leading workplace operations and service delivery.
Experience building schedules and cross-functional collaboration.
Strong communication and planning skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple work streams and projects.
Financial and procurement experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee all workplace services at the SF HQ including operations, front-of-house, shipping/receiving, events and experiences, and EHS.
Mentor and elevate the workplace team, fostering excellence and collaboration.
Build relationships with internal stakeholders and leadership for alignment on priorities.
Anticipate growth needs and develop a clear annual roadmap for SF.
Provide local site data and insights to inform decision-making.
Manage external vendors and building management against SLAs and budgets.
Collaborate with FP&A and Procurement on budgets and procurement processes.
Support rapid office expansion and occupancy planning.
Design and execute office events to drive employee engagement.
Maintain workplace SOPs and playbooks for consistency.
Leverage automation and AI tools to optimize space planning and reporting.
