Job summary

Wanderboat AI is seeking a Community Growth & Local Engagement team member to help build Wanderboat’s early local user network and ambassador ecosystem, starting from the SF Bay Area.

This role focuses on building highly engaged local communities through online engagement, offline activations, ambassador programs, and real-world experiences that strengthen user connection and product affinity.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in community growth, community operations, local engagement, ambassador programs, or consumer growth roles.
• Experience building highly engaged user communities, ambassador networks, or power-user ecosystems.
• Experience planning and operating online and offline community experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build and grow Wanderboat’s early local user community across the SF Bay Area.
• Identify and cultivate highly engaged users, early adopters, contributors, and local ambassadors.
• Foster meaningful interactions around local discovery, food, travel, lifestyle, and city exploration.
• Support ambassador and power-user programs that encourage long‑term engagement, advocacy, and community participation.
• Build strong relationships with highly engaged community members and local tastemakers.
