Job summary

Valkai in San Francisco is seeking a Chief of Staff to scale our operating machinery behind the business. You will work directly with founders and the AI Strategy team to connect data, people, and processes across functions.

You will create playbooks, templates, and automation to accelerate decision-making, coordinate recruiting, planning, and leadership meetings, and help shape company rhythm as we grow.

Qualifications

• Clear and accurate understanding of complex, cross-functional contexts.
• Ability to design scalable systems and repeatable processes.
• Organized, self-sufficient with ambiguity and goal-driven.
• Comfort with AI tools and automation development.
• High judgment and teamwork across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Capture learnings across accounts and functions, turn it into templates and playbooks.
• Own our market positioning, pricing inputs, and competitive benchmarking.
• Build the data and tooling layer behind our go-to-market; ensure data availability for teams.
• Define pipeline stages, forecast, and identify where to invest by segment, territory, and buyer.
• Lead AI-native operations and design internal automations and agents.
• Partner with our Talent team to design evaluation tools and hiring loops.
• Shape the rhythm of the business: planning, goals, scorecards, and leadership meetings.
