Job summary

You will seam and join fabric pieces, inspect finished products, and collaborate with fabric cutters and assemblers to keep the workflow smooth. This onsite role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent relevant experience is required.
• Previous experience in sewing or a related manufacturing role is preferred.
• Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines and hand tools to assemble fabric components with precision according to patterns and specifications.
• Seam and join fabric pieces, adding reinforcements, zippers, or other components as required for the final product.
• Inspect finished products for defects or irregularities and address issues to meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members, including fabric cutters and assemblers, to ensure smooth production flow.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a safe, efficient work environment.
• Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance overall efficiency in the sewing department.
• Organize and manage materials efficiently, minimize waste, and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for reporting purposes.
