Davlyn Group seeks a Production Operator, Sewing, to manufacture industrial-grade gaskets by joining and reinforcing fiberglass textiles with precision using an industrial sewing machine.

The role involves machine tending, quality inspection, and preventive maintenance to ensure high-quality components are produced efficiently and safely. This on-site position requires a high school diploma or GED and prior sewing experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous production or manufacturing experience, a plus.
• Prior industrial sewing experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching or machine malfunctions.
• Set up and thread sewing machines, guide components, and position items under needles.
• Inspect components to verify conformance to standards using rulers and measurements.
• Perform equipment maintenance tasks such as replacing needles and oiling machines.
• Tear down and re-thread machines, troubleshoot downtime, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
