Job summary

Martin-Baker America, Inc. is seeking a Sewing Machine Operator to operate various sewing machines and join fabric, Velcro, webbing, and other materials for production assemblies. The role requires attention to detail, motivation, and a strong work ethic.

The position is on-site in the United States, with full-time hours and benefits. Training will be provided to develop proficiency across multiple sewing machines and feeders, aligning with our safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to measure to a tolerance of +/- 1/16".
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating various sewing machines to join and/or reinforce fabric, velcro, webbing, and other material used in manufacturing of production assemblies. We are seeking a detail‑oriented, motivated Sewing Technician with strong technical ability and a solid work ethic.

Key Skills

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and complete end‑of‑shift housekeeping.


• Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, flowcharts, and build plans.


• Develop skills to operate all sewing machines (single/double needle, overlock, Adler, post, CNC auto tracker, auto webbing feeder, auto velcro feeder).

• High school diploma or GED required.

Additional Requirements
