  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve results.
  • Attend required safety and skills training.

Job description

Job Title: Clean, Deburr, Tumble (CDT) - Operator
Job Purpose

The CDT (Clean Deburr Tumble) Operator is responsible for prepping in-process parts using deburring, sanding, and polishing applications. Performs manual deburring techniques by utilizing hand tools and pneumatic grinders to smooth edges of machined parts.

Overview

Supports production through technical, labor, and maintenance tasks in the heat treat area and across multiple product lines. Ensures safe, accurate, and timely completion of work while following all Martin Baker America policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute tasks assigned by Supervisor and record work in SAP.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment and report discrepancies.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and build plans.
  • Operate tools, presses, and inspection equipment; make minor machine adjustments.
  • Train peers and support manufacturing activities as needed.
  • Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve results.
  • Attend required safety and skills training.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and1-3 years of experience in manufacturing industry is desired.
  • Must be detail oriented and have the able to produce quality work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and support team goals.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move frequently throughout the facility.
  • Local travel may occur.
  • Ability to lead peers but does not supervise staff.
  • Must adhere to all company policies and safety requirements.
Work Environment

Primarily in manufacturing areas with required PPE (safety glasses, etc.); exposure to standard plant and office conditions.
