Job summary

Martin‑Baker America seeks a detail-oriented Sewing Machine Operator to operate multiple sewing machines for assembling fabric, velcro, and webbing components in our production line. You will interpret blueprints and build plans while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role calls for strong manual skills, reliable work ethic, and the ability to stand for long periods. Training is provided for diverse sewing machines in a full-time on-site setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to measure to a tolerance of +/- 1/16".
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Sewing Machine Operator

The Sewing Machine Operator is responsible for operating various sewing machines to join and/or reinforce fabric, velcro, webbing, and other material used in manufacturing of production assemblies. We are seeking a detail‑oriented, motivated Sewing Technician with strong technical ability and a solid work ethic.

Key Skills:

• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and complete end‑of‑shift housekeeping.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, drawings, flowcharts, and build plans.
• Develop skills to operate all sewing machines (single/double needle, overlock, Adler, post, CNC auto tracker, auto webbing feeder, auto velcro feeder).

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

Additional Requirements:
