Graver Technologies LLC in Honeoye Falls, NY, is seeking a Sewing Assembler for 1st or 2nd shift to support the manufacturing of filter housings. Duties include cutting, sewing, pleated pack installation, gasket application, and final packaging. Must have a high school diploma and sewing/assembly experience.

Must be able to read measurements and follow instructions. Pay starts at $17.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package; equal opportunity employer.

Formación

• High School Graduation or Equivalent.
• Previous Sewing and Assembly experience.
• Ability to read tape measure and calipers.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Capability to lift and carry 30lbs for 20 feet.
• Normal manual dexterity, strength, and mobility of shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, fingers.

Responsabilidades

• Cut materials such as polyester, cotton, fiberglass with scissors and/or retractable blade.
• Sew above materials using needle and thread.
• Install pleated packs over and/or into metal and/or plastic cores.
• Side Seal ends of pleated packs using gluing, stapling, sonobonding, or metal clips.
• Attach gaskets made of listed materials using hot melt applicator.
• Package the product using plastic bags, wraps, filler paper, and/or cardboard boxes, and applying labels.

We are seeking 1st and 2nd Shift Sewing Assemblers to work in our Shop to support the manufacture of Filter Housings

Shift Schedule

• 1st Shift Hours: 6:00am-2:30pm (Monday-Friday) **
• 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm (Monday-Friday) **

SEWING ASSEMBLER

• Cut materials such as polyester, cotton, fiberglass with scissors and/or retractable blade.
• Sew above materials using needle and thread.
• Install pleated packs over and/or into metal and/or plastic cores.
• Side Seal ends of pleated packs using a variety of methods including, but not limited to
  • Gluing, using hand-held hot melt glue gun with finger trigger
  • Stapling, using conventional stapler
  • Sonobonding
  • Installing metal clips, using hand-held pliers, vise grips, etc
• Attach gaskets made of material listed above using hot melt applicator
• Perform a variety of other assembly operations.
• Package the product using plastic bags, wraps, filler paper, and/or cardboard boxes, and applying labels.
