Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Press Operator/Machine Operator to assemble mechanical units and sub-assemblies in a controlled manufacturing environment.

You will use various hand and power tools and operate equipment such as punch presses and drill presses to cut, fit, rivet, and assemble components. Qualified candidates typically have 3-5 years of experience, can read simple blueprints, and perform routine maintenance while ensuring product quality and process compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in assembly or machine operation.
• Ability to read simple blueprints and follow process instructions.
• Attention to quality and ability to troubleshoot minor issues.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units or fabricated parts to sub-assemblies or products using hand and power tools.
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet tolerances and requirements.

Uses various hand and power tools and operates equipment which may include jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveting machines, circular shears, and drill presses in order to cut, file, fit, punch, ream, rivet, form, and/or assemble. Fits, aligns, calibrates, and adjusts parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product requirements. Monitors quality of products and raw materials. May read simple blueprints. Performs simple routine maintenance and cleaning. Determines and corrects minor machine malfunctions. Typically has 3-5 years of experience and works under broad supervision. Typical job titles include: Press Operator, Machine Operator, Maker/Packer.
