Job summary

Visu-Sewer, Inc. invites applicants to join a Union Laborer Apprenticeship program in the Chicago area. The two-year program provides hands-on training in sewer repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation, with on-the-job experience and safety instruction.

You will learn to operate construction trucks and equipment as part of a crew, traveling as needed and earning $31.80 per hour for 45–50 hours weekly. Overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Must possess and maintain Class B driver's license/DOT health card (must obtain within 90 days).
• Must be able to travel 3-4 nights per week (both in/out of town).
• Pass a background check and drug test screening.

Responsibilities

• As an Apprentice, you will be trained to drive construction trucks and equipment to construction sites.
• Once on site, as part of a crew, you will use specialized underground construction equipment to perform sewer repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation services for municipalities throughout the upper Midwest.
• Visu-Sewer will provide training on workplace safety and equipment use.
