Job summary

Visu-Sewer Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Union Laborer Apprentice for a two-year program to build skills in sewer maintenance, repair and rehabilitation.

You will learn to drive construction trucks and operate underground equipment on municipal projects across the upper Midwest, with safety training provided. The role is full-time with overtime; you must travel 3-4 nights per week, hold a HS diploma or GED, and obtain a Class B license/DOT health card within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must hold a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold a valid driver's license and Class B license/DOT health card (must obtain within 90 days).
• Must be able to travel 3-4 nights per week (both in/out of town).
• Pass a background check and drug test screening.

Responsibilities

• As an Apprentice, you will be trained to drive construction trucks and equipment to sites.
• On site, you will work with a crew to perform sewer repair, maintenance, and rehabilitation services.
• Visu-Sewer will provide training on workplace safety and equipment use.
