Description

Atakapa Services, LLC. (A Waggoner Company) specializes in evaluating, maintaining, and designing rehabilitation methods for sanitary sewer and storm drain infrastructure. We work with municipalities, wastewater utility contractors, and engineering firms to inspect, clean, and rehabilitate their underground wastewater and drainage infrastructure. We provide a comprehensive range of services and reports to help our clients address complex sewer and storm drain operation and maintenance problems.

The Maintenance Lead Technician will travel extensively performing manhole inspections, smoke tests, flow monitoring, and potentially other SSES roles. Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials, and the public using excellent client service skills.

• This position will require extensive travel
• Perform manhole inspections—record structure attributes and identify defects.
• Conduct smoke tests and record defects encountered.
• Install and maintain open channel flow metering equipment.

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Compensation: $24.00 - $30.00 / hour

What you'll need

• Willingness to travel extensively

• SSES experience, specifically manhole inspections and smoke tests.

• Ability to interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Organizational skills for data and report management.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
