Job Summary:This role performs unskilled to skilled work in the maintenance and repair of sewer lines and related equipment for the Authority's wastewater collection system.Responsibilities:Inspects and repairs sewer line breaksInvestigates sewer for infiltration and flowLocates and inspects manholesCleans sewer linesAbility to use common tools and learn more advanced tools useAbility to be used in all areas of the Conveyance systemQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredSome knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in the maintenance and repair of sewer linesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Understands the use of common hand toolsValid Georgia driver's license with a clean driving record preferredPhysical Requirements:Frequent walking, standing, stooping.Ability to carry 50 to 80 pounds or more.
