Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Relief Operator for the 3rd shift at our Glasgow VA facility. The role involves assisting sewing in felt rolls, pulling production rolls, and following established procedures to maintain production flow.

You will work under supervision, adhere to safety rules, report hazards, participate in training, and perform housekeeping. Mohawk is a Fortune 500 flooring leader offering equal opportunity employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist sewing in felt rolls while operating
• Assist at the sew-on area when needed.
• Locating and pulling production rolls
• Obey all safety rules and regulations
• Immediately report to supervision all hazards, accidents, and/or injuries, no matter how slight
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
