Job summary

Mohawk Industries in Kentucky is seeking a production operator to help keep the creel yarn supply flowing and meet production yardages. You will patrol the creel, monitor for quality issues, and stop machines as needed to prevent defects, while working closely with a team to reach daily goals.

• Maintain creel yarn supply to meet assigned yardages.
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running.
• Observe creel and stop machine for quality issues (breakouts, defective packages, small packages).
• Work within a team environment.
• Participate in Quality Improvement Process.
• Attend training as deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow established standard operating procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and other tasks assigned by management.
