Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years of professional teaching experience.
• Colorado Department of Education teaching license.
• Colorado Special Education Teacher endorsement for the assigned program.
• Mandatory Crisis Prevention Intervention training.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to align curriculum with state standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to inclusive practices for diverse students.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in various settings (large, small, one-on-one).
• Plan and implement course content and individualized instruction.
• Assess and grade student work.
• Design varied assessment tasks and provide feedback.
• Create a productive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Monitor progress and document student growth.
• Communicate progress and needs to parents and staff.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to improve outcomes.
• Attend meetings, conferences, and professional development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
