Job summary

TRM Labs seeks a Severe Harms All-Source Investigator to trace the financial rails behind sextortion and CSAM monetization. You will build target packages, support legal processes, and drive disruption alongside law enforcement partners and financial institutions.

This is an individual-contributor role with growth under a Lead Investigator and supportive management. Remote work is possible from the US or UK with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of investigative or casework experience in illicit-finance, financial-crime, cybercrime, trust & safety, or related law-enforcement background.
• Experience collecting signal from open web, social, and forum sources or engaging subjects directly.
• Ability to work on cases collaboratively and under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Run your caseload from referral to disruption with legal process to on-chain/off-chain fusion.
• Identify and attribute actors using OSINT and direct engagement.
• Produce defensible write-ups and legal-process returns for law enforcement review.
• Map networks to show how a criminal network operates.
• Apply AI to accelerate casework while preserving necessary human oversight.
