Job summary

TRM Labs seeks a Threat Intelligence Analyst, Scams Expert to lead strategic disruption of scam networks. You will connect blockchain intelligence with disruption action, defining scalable approaches and surfacing actionable leads for law enforcement and financial institutions.

You will work with AI-enabled research, publish insights, and guide investigations across global partners. This role rewards ownership, rapid iteration, and high-impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of threat intelligence, fraud intelligence, or crypto crime analysis experience with a scam-typology beat and highlighted publications.
• Crypto/blockchain fluency with hands-on experience tracing funds and mapping laundering networks.
• Deep familiarity with scam ecosystems (pig butchering, romance fraud, investment scams) and crypto infrastructure.
• Architectural thinking and ability to describe disruption workflows end-to-end.
• Strong written communication capable of actionable intelligence for federal, financial, or exchange teams.
• US-based or globally remote with sufficient overlap with US time zones.

Responsibilities

• Map global scam ecosystems and translate into disruption strategy.
• Liaise between on-chain investigation and disruption execution teams.
• Define disruption levers using data and available tooling to affect operator economics.
• Produce timely leads and contribute to threat research outputs for law enforcement and crypto entities.
• Set attribution priorities and collaborate with product to surface impactful scam entities.
