Job summary

The Bank of Missouri is seeking a Settlement-Escrow Closer who will handle closing and settlement transactions for title insurance. You will communicate with borrowers, sellers, lenders and real estate agents to prepare and clear escrow packages, determine requirements, and deposit funds.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED plus a Title Insurance License and continuing education, or the ability to obtain licensing. Experience in title insurance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Title Insurance License and continuing education or ability to obtain licensing.
• Three years’ Title Insurance experience preferred.
• Excellent communication with borrowers, sellers, lenders and real estate agents.

Responsibilities

• Close and settlement transactions for title insurance.
• Prepare escrow requirements and closing documentation.
• Clear all title requirements needed for transfer of title.
• Deposit and disburse funds from closings.
• Support construction disbursements and business development at civic/Chamber events.

Other duties may be assigned.Ability to communicate via phone and email with all parties involved in closing transactions which is not limited to borrowers, sellers, lenders and real estate agents.Prepare and determine the escrow requirements for the transaction.Prepare necessary closing documentation to complete the sales transaction.Clear all title requirements needed for transfer of title.Deposit and disburse the funds from closings.Construction DisbursementBusiness development and company promotion by attending civic and Chamber eventsEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus Title Insurance License and continuing education or ability to obtain licensing.
