Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
• Experience in a legal or settlement coordination role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with settlement processes, client disbursements, and legal compliance.
• Excellent communication and the ability to explain processes to clients.
• Discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the distribution of settlement funds to clients and parties.
• Review settlement agreements and confirm accurate disbursement amounts.
• Maintain detailed records of all disbursements in the firm’s system.
• Ensure compliance with legal, financial, and ethical standards.
• Create and manage disbursement journals and related records.
• Troubleshoot issues related to settlement distributions.
