Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in the United States is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician for an MD Fill role requiring aseptic gown certification. The 12-hour shift runs Thursday/Friday/Saturday and every other Wednesday, from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm, on the B1 line.

You will perform preventive and demand maintenance tasks, support senior technicians, and grow skills across multiple maintenance functions, with opportunities to advance within AbbVie's GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and ability to use basic power tools and ability to apply proper hand and measuring tools in an industrial setting.
• Must have the ability to become aseptic gown certified.
• Mechanical experience highly preferred
• Schematics experience highly preferred
• Electrical experience highly preferred
• Must be willing to wear an Aseptic gown during the 12hr shift.
• HS diploma with 0+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate. Completion or current enrollment in a formal technical school program related to Industrial Maintenance desired.
• Intermediate computer skills (MS Windows)

This position is an entry level maintenance position. This role will serve as a primary resource on preventive and demand maintenance activities within their current skill set while supporting Senior technicians with more advanced tasks.
