Job summary

Pretium Packaging, L.L.C. in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Mold Technician to support our production lines on a full-time basis.

You will perform mold setups and changeovers, prep work for changeovers, preventive maintenance, and respond to troubleshooting to keep lines running safely and efficiently. The role requires clear communication, PPE use, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Injection molding experience required or strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold setups and changeovers as it relates to the production schedule.
• Perform prep work to prepare for mold changeovers and address process-related problems as directed by supervisor.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on tools in production, including cleaning, greasing, inspecting, and lubricating equipment.
• Respond to troubleshooting calls and mold performance issues to identify causes and assist with repairs.
• Operate lines as needed to support production.
• Maintain clean, orderly work areas and support overall manufacturing cleanliness.
• Attend training sessions to maintain or improve technical knowledge and performance.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, follow written instructions, wear PPE, and operate material handling equipment.
• Perform quality checks on containers to ensure specifications are met and document any issues.

• Must be able to: effectively communicate with internal and external customers, follow written instructions, use a variety of hand and power tools, wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), operate material handling equipment and maintain safest possible working environment for self and all facility associates.
• Perform quality checks on containers to ensure proper specifications are maintained. Document any problems or adjustments made to assigned machinery.
• Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
