Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Janesville, WI is seeking a Set-up Team Supervisor to lead a three-shift set-up crew and drive repeatable changeovers for thermoforming operations.

You will coach technicians, enforce safety, mentor knowledge transfer, and collaborate with maintenance and production leadership to improve reliability and part quality.

This role requires hands-on leadership, problem solving, and experience with CMMS and office tools.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Leadership experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and build the capability of set-up team members through coaching and mentoring in the field as well as providing guidance and performance feedback
• Foster a safe work environment, ensure set up technicians are practicing "best safe work practices"
• Install Form and Trim tooling for thermoforming process and production needs
• Ensure machine is set-up to produce quality parts and inspects forming station to ensure machine is in proper tolerance
• Completes inspection of a forming machine’s function so it is operating safely and properly
• Exhibits proficient troubleshooting skills related to all thermoforming process issues
• Ensure that all parts meet correct material distribution and visual specifications
• Properly records and documents information from Machine set up for future use
